We are industry leaders in designing effective teacher professional learning that supports transitions in underlying beliefs and assumptions and creates shifts in teacher practice. In particular we help districts and schools design and implement professional learning systems that help teachers implement culturally and linguistically sustaining practices and develop multiple different types of literacy. Our professional learning explicitly develops reflective practice, awareness of student academic engagement, and the ability to safely and meaningfully use HipHop texts and HipHop Educational Pedagogies K-5 to improve academic engagement and achievement.
